First Aid Training

First aid is a compulsory provision in the Canadian workplace.  The number of first aid practitioners and the level to which they are trained is dependent on the number of staff and the type of work undertaken.

CIE offers all mandated WSIB work related first aid courses from CPR to the 2-Day Standard First Aid Qualification.

Shorter, non certified courses in first aid or workplace specific courses can be tailored to your individual needs. These can range from covering the compulsory Grade 9 CPR Phys Ed component to providing the Lifesaving Society Anaphylaxis Rescuer certificate.

All CIE first aid training is undertaken by qualified paramedics with relevant on-the-job experience in dealing with the ill and injured. None of our courses are purely theoretical but are based around real-life experience and knowledge which can only be gained through hands-on experience.
